    Two forces opposite and complementary. Two poles of positive and negative, light and dark, masculine and feminine, with the same desire to merge as a magnet. Plato claims that the humans in its original form where androgynous united beings, with the organs duplicated, masculine and feminine at the same time. This model of human was so powerful it became a threat to the gods. Consequently they divided the creatures in two humans, men and women, eternally doomed to seek its other half.
